Sunnie Richer founded Doextra Corporation in 1997 to provide companies with sales and service automation solutions. As sales automation evolved into true CRM, Doextra has also grown its product, consulting and service offerings. In March of 2011, Richer sold her shares in Doextra to Brad Williams, who joined the company in 2006. Richer is still engaged as Chairman.
Prior to founding Doextra, Richer served as President of Opis Corporation, then a leading provider of Customer Support Software systems with over 800 businesses utilizing its products. Opis was purchased by SalesLogix in 1997 and the company went public in 1999. The combined companies were purchased by Sage in 2001.
With 16 years in sales and management at IBM, followed by a stint as marketing and technology manager in the banking and financial industry, Richer has extensive experience in providing software solutions for all kinds of business operations.
Richer is active in the community - having served on the board of directors for the United Way of Central Iowa, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, the Des Moines International Airport, Simpson College and Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino.
