Background
Marsh is one of the leading administrators of insurance and health benefit programs for professional societies and associations in the United States. Its array of services include brokering life and property/casualty insurance, benefits planning and administration and managed care administration.

Challenge
To ensure a high level of service while growing rapidly, Marsh sought a sales and support system to better manage its front line work with customers.

CRM Solution
Sage CRM SalesLogix was selected to provide the tools the support department, as well as the sales force, needs to provide exceptional service to Marsh’s customers.

Results
The SalesLogix  system has been expanded into three divisions of Marsh, totalling several  hundred users.  In divisions marketing to large companies, the emphasis has been on account planning and activity and pipeline management.  In a line of business that involves significant lead generation and lead management, the system has been integrated with 3rd party agencies and telemarketers. The solution has proven itself extremely adaptive to the diverse needs of this large client.
